Our Day

Rhythm and routine are everything. We love to provide a consistent, predictable daily rhythm for the children to always know what to expect when they arrive.

We begin our day with free play, allowing the children to seek what they are needing. Sometimes it’s the sand, or the mud, or maybe a book in the teepee. Then, we gather together for circle time, where we engage in movement and song centered around the seasons and time of year. During snack, we listen to a story and then go off for more free play.

We set up fun activities and crafts as invitations for the children to engage in if they wish. We love to provide environmentally-friendly, nature-based projects that encourage their imaginative play. Our curriculum is designed with love and intention, aimed to meet the developmental needs of the preschool-aged child.
